A conversation with someone who has no personal agenda, who listens and is fully present for you, is beneficial and can lead to insights and solutions in challenging phases of life. As a psychotherapist in training under supervision and as a counselor, I am here to support you.

Person-Centered Psychotherapy
Person-centered psychotherapy, also called client-centered (or “talk”) therapy, is based on the approach of C. R. Rogers, which places the interpersonal relationship at the heart of the process. The goal of person-centered counseling is to activate the client’s self-help potential and resources. This happens through the therapist’s person-centered attitude—characterized by empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuineness—which keeps the person and their possibilities for growth in clear focus.
Through dialogue with the therapist, clients are encouraged to trust their own worth, perceptions, and feelings, thereby opening a new pathway to self-understanding.
Person-centered psychotherapy is applied in individual, group, couple, and family therapy, as well as in child and adolescent psychotherapy and in psychiatric settings.

“The door to experience can only be opened from the inside.”
C. R. Rogers
SUPERVISION
In a wide range of settings—especially when people join forces to pursue a common task or goal—supervision has become an important instrument for quality assurance. Within supervision you have the opportunity, in a calm and secure atmosphere, to reflect on your professional work, discuss pending questions, and develop solutions. Personal issues that affect your work—or that are triggered by it—are just as welcome here as technical matters addressed in case supervision.
I enjoy working with both individuals and teams. Supervision sessions can take place at my practice, and for teams I am also happy to come to your organization. In addition to my many years of experience in child and youth welfare, I have recently worked on team development with numerous teams across various business sectors, gaining valuable insights along the way.

Person-Centered Group Therapy
Because it is difficult to form a suitable therapy group of the appropriate size, I can offer group therapy only in German.
Person-Centered Group Therapy combines the healing power of togetherness with Carl Rogers’ attitude of unconditional positive regard. In a safe, empathic space, participants experience:
For clients who attend individual therapy with me, I also offer a therapeutic group:
-
Authentic Encounters – Open conversations foster honest self-reflection and deepen awareness of one’s own feelings and needs.
-
Mutual Support – The group becomes a resource: experiences are shared, solidarity grows, and isolation fades.
-
Enhanced Self-Efficacy – Through genuine listening and unconditional positive regard, clients develop confidence in their ability to find solutions.
-
Cultivation of Empathy – Engaging with diverse life stories sharpens compassion and broadens perspective.
-
Sustainable Change – Insights are developed collaboratively, making them easier to anchor in daily life and more enduring over time.
The result is a dynamic process in which everyone can grow—supported by a group that lives out appreciation, genuineness, and understanding.

„The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination.“

ABOUT ME
I studied psychology (Vienna & Klagenfurt) and am now working as a psychotherapist in training under supervision (University Krems, ÖGWG).
Since my community service in 2000, I have been working with people: in child and youth welfare, as a trainer with companies, and in the form of mental support for athletes.
I am currently working as a psychotherapist at the Klagenfurt Rehab Clinic and also run my practice in Villach.
At the same time, I pursue my passion as a state-certified mountain and ski guide and enjoy traveling in the mountains all around the world.
